Afghanistan: America’s Longest Foreign War

The folly of how America got into its longest foreign war and the case for immediate withdrawal.

1 Credit

America has been at war in Afghanistan for over 16 years, and this tragic war shows no signs of stopping any time soon. In fact, unbeknownst to most Americans the war has actually been ramping up as of late. Around 14,000 US troops still occupy Afghanistan and the Trump Administration has roughly tripled the number of bombs dropped in 2017 over 2016.

Scott Horton is a walking encyclopedia of the events leading up to the war and everything that has happened since. In this course, he will explain the folly of how America got into its longest foreign war and make the case for immediate withdrawal.
