Join Thad Russell, Daniel Coffeen, and other members of the Unregistered and Renegade University community at Warehouse416 in downtown Oakland for a weekend of thought-provoking conversation and friendly debate.
What to look forward to

- A LIVE Unregistered podcast taping: Watch as Thad, Daniel, and other weekend participants chop it up during a rare live taping of the Unregistered podcast—the only chance that listeners get to appear on the show.
- Discussion Groups: Converse and debate with Thad and other brilliant and iconoclastic thinkers in an intimate, small group setting.
- A VIP walking tour of Renegade San Francisco with Thad: We’ll explore the rich history of the rebels, miscreants, and outlaws who made San Francisco the capital of the American counter-culture and subverted American puritanism.
- Saturday Night After-party: Held at a very special urban farm in East Oakland that is the underground headquarters of Renegade University.

Daniel Coffeen holds a PhD from UC Berkeley’s famed Department of Rhetoric. His lectures on rhetoric and philosophy on iTunes, his appearances on multiple podcasts (including Unregistered, twice), and his popular blog “An Emphatic Umph” have made him a star in the new media. His book Reading the Way of Things: Towards a New Technology of Sense is an accessible guide to seeing and feeling the world—your world—with tools previously available only to academics trained in theories of rhetoric, philosophy, and literary criticism.
